Bastille recruits Keith Schofield (previously directed Ducks Sauce – “Big Bad Wolf”) in their music video for “Torn Apart”. The song is taken from their upcoming mixtape “VS. (Other People’s Heartache, Pt. III)”

The video kicks off with actors defining what love is ….

Love is magical
Love is a dream
Love means never having to say you’re sorry
Love is more powerful than God
Love makes everything happy
You can love whoever you want
It doesn’t matter if you’re black or white
It doesn’t matter what color they are, how old they are

Love is colorblind
Love means everything
Love is Love – Love is Love – Love is Love

The 2 centric characters then transform into person of different race ( shapes and sizes ). And at the climax of the video, they transform into aliens with sex organs attached to their belly and had intercourse.
And as the video explains:

Love is 2 machine guns mounted on a goat
Love can heal serious head trauma
Love is a porno party filled with hope and happiness
If doesn’t matter if you love yourself or love the muppets
Love is like mushrooms, if you shoot a duck, I’m scared of toast.
Love is a truck of ooze
Love is Love
Love is Love
Love is Love

What the video is trying to say is …. Love comes in different shapes and sizes. Love can be everything ….Love is Love.
